Estrés/ansiedad/depresión subumbral (MBSR)
LowConditionalin favorRecommendation: Se sugiere la intervención psicológica ante estrés, ansiedad o depresión subumbral.
Why / when / how
Psychological intervention reduces the symptoms of anxiety and subthreshold depression, with a very low risk profile and good scalability in a group format. The certainty of the evidence in the critical outcomes is low. That is why the recommendation is conditional in favor, because the balance between benefits and risks is favorable, although with less certainty.
Cautions
Before intervening on mental health, assess the patient's emotional state, context, and treatments, and individualize the approach without replacing the treatment indicated by their health team. Carry out a screening of suicide risk and crisis situations. Advise seeking mental-health care on a priority basis in the face of warning signs such as thoughts of self-harm, marked functional decline, and worsening symptoms, and refer to specialized care when appropriate. Reassess the progression periodically.
